About

HGFI is an Hybrid association of the government and private sector that aims to raise awarness on environmental issues and promote innovative projects that provide solutions to challenges across four intervention areas : Technology, Energy, Environment and Agriculture.  Those projects are analyzed, developped and funded through our partners within the Government, Private and Public sector.

HGFI also assures supervision of the execution as well as monitoring of the results with the utmost transparency to not only secure the investments but create white papers that will become blueprints for Haiti's sustainable development and will then be introduced and implemented throughout the region.

Mission

  • Assess the current situation and advocate a new approach in the areas of technology, energy and agriculture

  • Develop a viable strategy for sustainable development conscious of the environment and our natural resources.

​

  • Research and analysis of scientific methods adapted to Haiti for recommendations and setting new standards within the scope of HGFI

​

  • Conceive projects and modernization programs that will boost the economic growth of the country through innovative technology, renewable energy and agribusiness

​

  • Support entrepreneurs and third party aiming the same objectives

Objectives

  • Create a development and project management platform for « green »project that provides all the necessary tools and resources to their implementation and success

​

  • Create a « Green Investment Fund » » that will tap into new funding tracks for sustainable development projects in Haiti under a public private partnership format

​

  • Create a development fund for related technology, infrastructure and telecommunications sectors

​

  • Channel 1.5 billion dollars of Investment in the sectors of Technology, Energy and Agriculture during the next five years

​

  • Create an opportunity for foreign countries, stakeholders and private investors to participate in the development of a 3rd world country with a humanitarian aspect and a regional impact.

​

  • Implement innovative solutions for clean renewable energy and green technology

​

  • Publish regular white papers, research and recommendations of the association, making it a public resource

​

  • Organize seminars in collaboration with the universities to raise awareness and increase participation and engagements
